sa simula is napagana ko siya, pero nang binago ko ang settings ng lan just for curiosity at saka binalik uli hindi na nag ilaw yung dsl at di na rin ako makakunekta sa internet, so far ang lan is ok naka pagcommunicate naman sa ibang pc ko. nag try ako sa procedure ulit pero ayaw pa rin makapag connect sa net.

just for sharing: i bought this kind of adsl router last Monday, (KIT ADSL) from cdr king, ginamit ko sya as WIFI router sa loob ng bahay namin, eto ang connections ko:meron akong globe landline na may 2 mb internet speed, at merong Prolink router with 4 ports ethernet, isinaksak ko sa ethernet port 1 ng KIT ADSL yung RJ45 coming from prolink wifi and presto! may internet na from ethernet port 2,3 and 4 from KIT ADSL ROUTER, then I configured the wireless lan of KIT ADSL ROUTER and presto again….napagana ko ang WIFI ng KIT ADSL ROUTER, as of now, gamitgamit ko yung KIT ADSL ROUTER sa loob ng bahay namin using my laptop and its wireless, thanks dito sa very cheap wifi adsl router na to…. imagine, its only 880.00.

hi ask ko lang po ano problem ng wifi router ko bigla nalang naging intermittent ang connection ko. nawawalan ng ilaw yung dsl/ppp light ng modem but when i tried changing my wifi modem to pldt modem ok naman ang connection ko. does it means sira na yung wifi modem? repairable pa kaya?

just wanted to say thanks for this absolutely amazing guide!

recently,my modem got fried due to lightning(even our tv got toasted.hehehe)..i dont wanna shell out P1.2k for a replacement from PLDT(out of warranty)..and then i came upon this blog…

bought adsl kit..followed instructions(multimode got it working for me)…and presto…modem/router for P880!

anu po ba yung tamang username pag nag connect sa http://192.168.1.1 ??
tinry ko na lahat pero paulit lumalabas yung username at password na window.. please pa help po… tnx…

sir good day po. notice ko po sa pc ko, everytime i try to connect to 192.168.1.1 sa browser ko, and i enter admin/1234, hindi po tinatanggap yung username at password, tapos po magmamali 3 times tapos lalabas “PROTECTED OBJECT”. tama po ba yung username and password na nilalagay ko? b.t.w. pldt mydsl plan 1299 yung internet ko po. thanks in advance po

You don't need to download anything from the site so you shouldn't be getting any viruses from there. You just need to read the default guide to know how to forward the port to the outside world. I'm also assuming that you're running on a static IP address so you didn't have to setup DynDNS for routing.
