堕天使 (Datenshi, fallen angel) can refer to two things about me.
Datenshi can refer to my online persona since it’s the screen name that I tend to use most of the time. Given that the places where I use the screen name are usually places where otaku hang out, the Datenshi persona represents the side of me that deals with the anime culture. So while “Bry” is the one studying about Software Engineering and Project Management, “Datenshi” is the one watching anime, reading manga, making costumes, criticizing half-baked otaku, etc.
Datenshi can also refer to my serious side. Not my “normal” serious side, mind you. It’s a bit hard to explain in words… just think “Multiple Personality Disorder” plus “fallen angel”.
